LET US HELP YOU MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR STORAGE SPACE
Make sure you are choosing the correct size unit for your needs. Use our handy formula to help you understand your needs.
Use pallets covered in plastic to raise the floor in your unit to provide ventilation and reduce the risk of moisture absorption from the concrete floors.
Use boxes that are of a similar shape and size to help maximize your storage space.
Avoid storing anything in plastic bags - especially garbage bags - as they trap moisture, mold and mildew.
Avoid storing clothing in vacuum bags as they also trap moisture - instead use cardboard wardrobe boxes which protect the clothing and provide proper ventilation.
Don't over pack your boxes. The create unsteady stacks and tend to come apart and make a mess.
Use shelving if you are storing a number of small items.
Drain gasoline and oil from lawn mowers and other items with small engines.
Store couches on their end to maximize space. Remove legs and disassemble tables and other furniture.
Create a center aisle, if possible, to provide access to more of your items.
Store items you anticipate requiring access to most often at the front of the unit.
